Headshot of a white woman with dark hair. She is against a white background and wearing a pink and white top.

Sarah R. Gulick

is an author living and working in Massachusetts. Along with her job doing business research, she has written for The Toast, created text for on-screen props in television shows, and written a murder mystery novel. In her spare time, she enjoys crossword puzzles, train travel, and trying new fruits. She is happiest having a conversation on the porch outside a loud party with people she just met, and she is still mad that Netflix cancelled its television show GLOW.

She is available for commissions. Her novel is represented by Bridget Smith at Jabberwocky.

Writing

Sarah’s personal essay on Alan Hollinghurst and a guide to telling if you are in an E. M. Forster novel are available on the Toast.

Her first novel is a queer murder mystery set in 1920s Oxford, and her current project is a contemporary ghost story set in Scotland.
